2009 Best Selling Commercial Vans In the United States (All Models Ranked)
The Ford E-Series remained the best-selling commercial van in the United States in 2009, despite a further decline in sales due to the ongoing economic recession. However, the E-Series’ sales were down by only 6.6% from 2008, which was less than the overall decline in the commercial van market.
The Chevrolet Express and GMC Savana also saw declines in sales in 2009, but they remained the second and third best-selling commercial vans, respectively. The Dodge Sprinter and Freightliner Sprinter continued to gain popularity in 2009, despite the economic recession. They were both popular choices for businesses that needed a van with a high cargo capacity and good fuel efficiency.
