Advertise With Us

Good Car Bad Car reaches the people who work with vehicle sales numbers: dealers and dealer groups, analysts at automakers and suppliers, journalists on the auto beat, investors following the sector, and enthusiasts who want to know what is actually selling. Most readers arrive from search with a specific question, usually how a particular model, brand or segment is doing, and they come back each month when the new figures land. The audience is concentrated in the United States and Canada, with substantial readership in China and Europe.

Display advertising

Advertising on the site is managed by Raptive, which sells and serves our inventory. If you buy media programmatically, through an agency or a demand-side platform, that is the way to reach GCBC readers; Raptive can also arrange private marketplace deals across its network. We do not sell banner placements directly.

What we do not do

As a rule, we do not publish guest posts, sponsored articles or paid links, and we do not run brand deals. Every article and every table on this site is produced by GCBC, and nothing in our editorial or our data is paid for. That policy is what makes the numbers worth citing, so it is not something we trade away for a placement.

But do get in touch

We still read every proposal, and we are open to hearing about opportunities that fit what GCBC is: sponsorships, partnerships with companies that serve the same audience, research collaborations, and licensing our data for a product or a report. We say no more often than yes, but if you think yours is different, tell us. Email [email protected] with “Advertising” or “Partnership” in the subject line, or use the contact form. Say who you are, what you have in mind and what you would want from us, and we will reply if there is a fit.

Data licensing terms are on our About page.
