The Ioniq 5 has grown into one of the best-selling non-Tesla electric vehicles in the United States since its debut in late 2021. Annual sales climbed from 22,982 in 2022 to 33,918 in 2023, 44,400 in 2024, and a record 47,039 in 2025. The nameplate has carried that momentum into 2026, with 20,730 sold through June against 19,092 over the same months of 2025, an increase of about 9 percent.

Hyundai Ioniq 5 Sales in Canada
In Canada the Ioniq 5 sold strongly through 2024, reaching 13,484 units, but volume fell to 4,773 in 2025 after Canada’s federal iZEV purchase-incentive program ran out of funding early in the year and paused new rebates. That pullback has continued into 2026, with 1,567 sold through June against 3,568 over the same period of 2025.
