One in four new vehicles sold in Q3 2025 was a pickup truck, despite average transaction prices approaching $55,000 and little evidence demand is softening

TLDR: Pickup trucks captured 25.13% of Q3 2025 U.S. sales (759,235 units), with the top four nameplates accounting for 69% of all truck volume. The F-Series led at 207,732 units despite Ford brand transaction prices averaging $56,109 in August. Americans spent approximately $41.7 billion on pickup trucks in just three months, proving price sensitivity remains minimal in the segment.
