Mercedes-Benz CLE
Here you will find monthly and yearly United States and Canadian sales figures for the Mercedes-Benz CLE. The CLE is the company’s midsize two-door line, sold as a coupe and as a soft-top cabriolet, and it took the place of the separate C-Class and E-Class two-doors that came before it. Mercedes-Benz presents it as a new and independent model series rather than a variant of either sedan, and every version sold in the United States comes with 4MATIC all-wheel drive.
- Class: Midsize luxury coupe and cabriolet
- Current engines: 2.0L turbocharged inline-four rated 255 hp and 295 lb-ft in the CLE 300 4MATIC, 3.0L turbocharged inline-six rated 375 hp and 369 lb-ft in the CLE 450 4MATIC, and an AMG-enhanced 3.0L turbocharged inline-six rated 443 hp and 413 lb-ft, rising to 443 lb-ft on overboost, in the AMG CLE 53

Mercedes-Benz CLE Sales in the United States
The CLE reached American showrooms in the first quarter of 2024 and posted 14,334 units in that opening year, building from 860 in the first quarter to 5,754 in the third, still its best quarter. The first full year, 2025, rose 7.5 percent to 15,413 units, with every quarter landing between 3,692 and 3,938. The first half of 2026 closed at 7,480 units, down 5.0 percent from 7,872 a year earlier, as a softer first quarter of 3,188 was only partly offset by a second quarter of 4,292. One reporting note worth carrying into the monthly chart: Mercedes-Benz reports United States retail sales quarterly, so each quarter is distributed across its three months and short month-to-month steps are better read at quarter level.

Mercedes-Benz CLE Sales in Canada
Canadian deliveries began in April 2024 and the nameplate finished that partial year at 552 units. 2025 was its first full year and more than doubled the count to 1,401 units. 2026 has cooled: the first half brought 795 units against 897 over the same six months of 2025, a decline of about 11 percent. Canada takes roughly one CLE for every eleven sold in the United States, which is an ordinary ratio for a Mercedes-Benz two-door.
