Toyota Yaris Sales in the United States
U.S. figures open at 1,339 in March 2006 and climb to 11,392 in August, for a first-year total of 70,308. Sales rose 20.6 percent to 84,799 in 2007 and 20.7 percent to 102,328 in 2008, the best year on the chart, with the monthly high of 14,397 that May. Volume then fell three years running, to 63,743 in 2009, 40,076 in 2010 and 32,704 in 2011, a year that dipped to 1,112 in August before a jump to 6,792 in October. The slide continued to 30,589 in 2012, 21,042 in 2013 and 13,274 in 2014, before a recovery to 16,779 in 2015 and 16,905 in 2016. Sales jumped 162.5 percent to 44,380 in 2017, the first year with the Yaris iA in the lineup, then eased to 27,209 in 2018 and 21,916 in 2019. Volume fell 70.6 percent to 6,436 in 2020, and the final 205 U.S. sales came in 2021, the last of them in August.

Toyota Yaris Sales in Canada
Canadian figures begin at 1,416 in October 2005, for a 2005 total of 6,177. Sales jumped to 34,202 in 2006, held at 34,424 in 2007 and rose 17.9 percent to 40,602 in 2008, the best year on the Canadian chart, including the monthly high of 5,658 that May. Volume then fell by more than 40 percent in each of the next three years, to 7,968 in 2011. The Yaris recovered 37.5 percent to 10,955 in 2012, then settled between 7,061 and 8,530 a year from 2013 through 2018. Sales eased to 6,256 in 2019, fell 65.4 percent to 2,167 in 2020 and ended with 283 in 2021, the last of them in June. The 2022 row on the chart is zero.
