Rivian R1S

Rivian R1S Sales in the United States
The R1S went on sale late in 2022 and recorded 800 units before the year closed, then scaled quickly to 23,437 in 2023 as Rivian worked through its order book. Deliveries stepped back to 19,712 in 2024, the year Rivian changed over to the second-generation R1, and then recovered to a record 23,991 in 2025. Monthly volume through 2025 was consistent, holding between roughly 1,760 and 2,260 units with the strongest months in July and December. Through June 2026 Rivian has delivered 11,400 R1S units in the United States against 11,600 over the same six months of 2025, a difference of under 2 percent, which leaves the SUV tracking its record year almost exactly.

Rivian R1S Sales in Canada
The Canadian series is much younger and much smaller. Rivian began Canadian deliveries with a handful of units in 2022, followed by 200 in 2023 and 275 in 2024 as the company concentrated supply on its home market. Expansion of the Canadian sales and service network then changed the picture: deliveries jumped to 1,250 in 2025, more than quadrupling the prior year. The pace has accelerated again in 2026, with 1,030 units already delivered through June against 400 over the same period a year earlier, a gain of roughly 158 percent that puts the R1S on course to more than double its Canadian record inside a single year.
