You don’t want to hear that Subaru went and messed up a front-end again, but that may be what you’re forced to hear. Now, this is just a concept version of the next Legacy, and the car as a whole is fine and dandy. But the face…. oh, the face.
Strangely enough, the Legacy hasn’t been exposed to Subaru’s facial torture in the way the Impreza, Tribeca, and Forester have. Up to this point at least.
Subaru says the boxer under the hood is a 3.6L six-cylinder. Symmetrical all-wheel drive is an obviously present and accounted for. Apparently this car was designed to mark the 20th anniversary of the Legacy. Hopefully by the time it is tinkered with for production, the face is toned down some.
