Toyota Sequoia Sales in the United States

Toyota Sequoia sales in the United States open this dataset at 45,904 units in 2005, comfortably the best year on record for the nameplate. Volume fell quickly from there, to 34,315 in 2006 and 23,273 in 2007, and after the recession the second generation settled into a long plateau between roughly 10,000 and 14,000 units a year through the 2010s as it aged without a full replacement. The bottom came in 2022 at 5,313 as that generation wound down, with several months in single digits. The hybrid only third generation transformed the picture: 20,557 in 2023, 26,097 in 2024 and 26,186 in 2025, the strongest full year since 2006. Momentum has carried into 2026, with 13,939 units delivered through June against 12,222 at the same point a year earlier, a gain of about 14 percent. One caveat on the chart: June 2023 is absent from the monthly record, so the 2023 annual is understated.
