2015 U.S. Automotive Sales by Automaker – The Best-Selling Automotive Manufacturers By Sales Volume

In 2015, the U.S. auto market continued its post-recession resurgence with strong sales numbers across the board. GM, with its brands Chevrolet, GMC, Cadillac, and Buick, retained its position as the top-selling automaker in the U.S. The Chevrolet Silverado and GMC Sierra pickups were key contributors to its sales. Ford remained a strong contender, with the Ford F-Series maintaining its position as the best-selling vehicle in the U.S. The Escape and Fusion also performed well. Toyota secured its spot in the top three with robust sales of models like the Camry, Corolla, and RAV4. FCA’s brands, including Jeep, Ram, Dodge, and Chrysler, showed good numbers. The Ram pickups and Jeep models like the Cherokee and Grand Cherokee were particularly strong sellers. The Civic, Accord, and CR-V continued to be top choices for many American consumers, ensuring Honda’s position in the top tier of the U.S. market.
