Volkswagen Atlas Cross Sport Sales in the United States

Volkswagen launched the Atlas Cross Sport in the United States in 2020, and the 15,147 units recorded that year cover only the months the dataset carries rather than a full twelve. The first complete year was also the strongest: 44,304 deliveries in 2021, still the nameplate’s high-water mark, with the best single month of the run at 4,905 units in June of that year. Supply constraints then cut volume to 24,666 in 2022 before the Cross Sport rebuilt to 34,814 in 2023 and 38,872 in 2024, its best result since the launch surge. Sales eased to 31,319 in 2025, down roughly 19 percent year over year, though the monthly pattern was steady rather than collapsing, holding between 2,276 and 3,012 units in every month of the year. Through June 2026 Volkswagen has delivered 16,660 Cross Sports, effectively level with the 16,673 recorded over the same six months of 2025.
