Sales held close to that level at 62,976 in 2006 and 60,901 in 2007, then fell 20.3 percent to 48,557 in 2008 and 31.5 percent to 33,255 in 2009. Volume steadied at 33,722 in 2010 and rose 38.6 percent to 46,725 in 2011, including 6,586 in April 2011. Monthly sales faded from 3,013 in September 2011 to 793 by December, and the final 4,429 sold through 2012 ran between 190 and 643 a month.

Canada’s volume was smaller and steady. The Crown Victoria sold 3,326 in 2004, 3,311 in 2005 and 3,315 in 2006, then 2,809 in 2007, 2,938 in 2008, 2,429 in 2009 and a low of 2,243 in 2010. Sales recovered 14.8 percent to 2,575 in 2011, though that year ended with two units in November and one in December. The final 30 were sold in January and February 2012. Monthly figures swing widely, from 643 in March 2006 to 50 or fewer in several late-summer and autumn months.
