Ford’s $28,350 Fathom Is Priced Against Competitors That Aren’t Allowed In Yet

Ford revealed the Fathom on August 6, a five-seat midsize electric pickup starting at $28,350, or $29,945 delivered. It is the first product on the Universal EV platform, built at Louisville Assembly, with pre-orders in early 2027 and deliveries later that year. The price lands a week after Jim Farley told employees Chinese automakers could enter the US within five to ten years.
