This is your hub for all of the Cadillac sales data for the Canadian market. Everybody knows Cadillac as the luxury brand that sits within the General Motors portfolio of brands. Cadillac is more than just a US brand however, being sold in Canada and other markets too. It is one of the oldest and most respected luxury brands and has recently had a resurgence in the quality and design of their cars. At one time, Cadillac has been considered as a status symbol that was synonymous with success and achievement.

For decades, Cadillac dominated the luxury vehicle market in the North American region. They are known for their high standards for manufacturing luxury vehicles. Their products have continued to resonate with their customers today despite being one of the oldest automobile brands in the world. In 2018, the company announced that they sold 381,859 vehicles worldwide, which is a record for the brand.

Cadillac Canada Sales Figures & Recent Highlights

Cadillac does well in Canada with sales growing from 6,647 units in 2004 to 10,538 units sold by 2014. The brand saw steady growth in Canada over those years with the exception of 2009 when the financial crisis saw sales drop to a low of 4,724. On the back of a solid product range Cadillac saw record sales in Canada in 2017 of 13,330 units. Although Cadillac has lured customers away from other manufacturers with the ATS and the CTS, it may have been even better at attracting newcomers to the brand. We expect Canada to continue to be a bright spot for Cadillac as they continue to invest to elevate the brand status further and as they add new vehicles in  new segments.

Cadillac Canada sales have been declining in recent years. In 2020, Cadillac Canada sales were 24,300 units. In 2021, Cadillac Canada sales fell to 21,700 units. And in 2022, Cadillac Canada sales fell further to 19,100 units.

Cadillac’s product lineup is aging, and the company has not introduced any major new models in recent years. This has led to consumers losing interest in the brand. The SUV market is growing rapidly, while the car market is shrinking. Cadillac has not been able to keep up with this trend, and its SUV sales are not growing as fast as the market. adillac faces strong competition from other luxury brands, such as Mercedes-Benz, BMW, and Audi. These brands have newer and more appealing models, and they are taking market share from Cadillac.
