Our Take On The Minivan Sales Numbers

Both the month of December and the entire year of 2018 weren’t exceptional for Minivan sales. The segment saw roughly 16,000 fewer sales this year when compared to last year. December didn’t pose great results either, with roughly 1,500 fewer sales.

With all that said, the Honda Odyssey saw sales increases for both December and 2018 as a whole. The model’s sales jumped 8.19 percent and 2.80 percent for the year.

The sales volume leader for the year was the Dodge Grand Caravan. However, it suffered a 31.28 percent loss of sales for the year and a 49.41 loss for the month of December when compared to last year.

Most other sales losses were far less dramatic.
