Acura Sales Data, Trends & Analysis for the Chinese Automotive Market
China auto sales statistics for Acura only include the models that are locally produced in China through GAC-Acura, a subsidiary of the GAC-Honda Joint Venture with local manufacturing partner Guangzhou Auto Group Co., and excludes import models. Production of the Acura CDX, the first model of the Joint venture, takes place in the factory in Zengcheng, Guangzhou province since July 2016. Production of Acura’s second local model, the TLX-L, started in September of 2017, followed by the new generation RDX in November 2018. All other Acura models in China are imported and therefore not included in these sales figures.
Car sales statistics from China only include domestic production and exclude imported models.
