The i6 MAX is newer, larger and more premium than the i6. It is 45mm longer and 29mm taller than the i6. The i6 MAX is available with PHEV and EV powertrains. The Plug-in Hybrid is powered by a 1.5-liter turbocharged engine combined with a 100 kW electric motor.
Prices run from 139,800 yuan €11.600,- / US$13,000) to 188,800 yuan (€18.600 / US$20.800), which means the i6 MAX competes with the BYD Qin Pro New Energy (136,900 to 204,900 yuan), GAC Aion S (139,600 to 205,800 yuan) and Geometry A (118,700 to 198,700 yuan).
