Ford Transit Sales in the United States
The Transit replaced the E-Series van for retail buyers, and its US volume grew from 117,577 units in 2015 to 153,867 in 2019. Sales dipped to 99,745 in 2021 and 99,382 in 2022, then recovered to 129,009 in 2023 and 164,373 in 2024, the Transit’s best year on this chart, before easing to 161,797 in 2025. The third quarter of 2026 brought 40,260 sales, down 5.3 percent from the 42,503 of the third quarter of 2025 and down 9.9 percent from the 44,677 of the second quarter, when May was the strongest month of the year at 15,859. That leaves January to September 2026 at 119,185, essentially level with the 118,560 of the same months of 2025.
