The current generation of the Porsche Boxster is the 718 Boxster, which was introduced in 2016. It is powered by a turbocharged 2.0-liter flat-four engine that produces 300 horsepower in the base model and 350 horsepower in the S model. It is available with a choice of a six-speed manual or a seven-speed PDK dual-clutch automatic transmission.
