Nissan Rogue Sales in the United States
The Rogue grew rapidly from a niche entry in 2008 into one of America’s best-selling crossovers, peaking at 412,110 units in 2018. Volume has been choppier since, swinging with redesigns and supply constraints: 186,481 in 2022 during the chip shortage, a rebound to 271,458 in 2023, then 245,723 in 2024 and 216,207 in 2025, down about 12 percent year over year. Through June 2026 Nissan had sold 135,970 Rogues in the United States.

Nissan Rogue Sales in Canada
In Canada the Rogue climbed to a peak of 43,418 units in 2017 and has remained a core Nissan seller since. After dipping to 20,144 in 2022, Canadian sales recovered to 32,737 in 2024 and 36,034 in 2025, a gain of about 10 percent and one of the model’s stronger recent showings.

Nissan Rogue Generations
First Generation (2008–2013)
Launched for the 2008 model year, offering a new entry in the growing compact SUV market. Typically powered by a 2.5-liter four-cylinder engine coupled with a continuously variable transmission (CVT). Designed with comfort in mind, with available features like a touchscreen infotainment system and keyless entry.
Second Generation (2014–2020)
Comprehensive redesign with a more modern appearance and improved materials. Continued with the 2.5-liter engine but added tuning for improved performance and efficiency. Offered modern technology features, including advanced driver assistance systems like adaptive cruise control. Briefly offered a hybrid model, adding an option for better fuel economy.
Third Generation (2021–Present)
The 2021 redesign brought a new platform, bolder styling, and a more upscale interior. A 2.5-liter four-cylinder engine remains the standard option, with improvements in performance and efficiency. Upgraded with higher-quality materials and modern tech features, including a digital instrument cluster and larger infotainment display. Nissan’s Safety Shield 360, a suite of safety features, became standard, including features like automatic emergency braking and lane departure warning.
