Volume then settled at 153,808 in 2023, 134,088 in 2024 and 136,333 in 2025. The third quarter of 2026 brought 33,070 sales, down 6.9 percent on the 35,528 of the third quarter of 2025, though up 19.4 percent on the 27,700 of the second quarter of 2026. February was the strongest month of the year so far at 13,701. That leaves January to September 2026 at 95,761, down 9.5 percent on the 105,788 of the same months of 2025.

In Canada the CX-5 has been a cornerstone of Mazda’s lineup. Sales rose from 11,301 in the 2012 launch year to the mid-20,000s across the late 2010s, reaching 27,696 in 2019, dipped to 22,846 in 2023, then rebuilt to 24,644 in 2024. In 2025 Canadian deliveries reached 28,288, the highest full year on this chart. The third quarter of 2026 brought 8,260 sales, down 2.9 percent on the 8,505 of the third quarter of 2025, though up 11.0 percent on the 7,443 of the second quarter, with August setting a monthly record for this chart at 3,150.
