Leapmotor S01
The S01 is an electric small coupe, which makes it a rather unique model as not many Chinese brands have dared to develop coupes, let alone with an electric powertrain. It’s the second model of the Leapmotor brand, together with the T03 small crossover. The Leapmotor S01 is powered by a 125kW electric motor and is available with two battery capacity options: 35.6 kWh and 48 kWh, offering NEDC ranges of 305km and 380km. Dimensions are 4.075/1.760/1.380mm with a wheelbase of 2.500mm. Prices range from 119.900 yuan (€14.500,- / US$ 17,200) to 149.900 yuan (€18.200,- / US$ 21,500) which is quite high for this type and size of vehicle, as it compares to cars like the BYD Qin EV (129.900-174.800 yuan) and Ora iQ (114.800-124.800 yuan).
