Land Rover Range Rover Sales in the United States

Range Rover sales in the United States open this chart at 13,430 units in 2005 and spend the back half of the 2000s at a much lower level, though the 2008 and 2009 totals are both incomplete in this dataset and understate those years. Volume rebuilt steadily through the 2010s, from 8,341 in 2012 to 19,030 in 2018, then eased to 13,982 in the pandemic-shortened 2020 and dropped again to 12,999 in 2022 as the fifth generation replaced the outgoing model. The changeover is where the current run begins: deliveries recovered to 15,989 in 2023, jumped to 22,166 in 2024 and reached 24,863 in 2025, the strongest full year anywhere in this series. Within 2025 the best month was March at 2,739 units and the softest was June at 1,431. Through June 2026 Land Rover has delivered 12,700 Range Rovers, roughly 2 percent ahead of the 12,491 recorded over the same six months of 2025, so the nameplate is holding its record pace rather than giving it back.

Land Rover Range Rover Sales in Canada

Canada follows the same broad arc on a much smaller base. The Range Rover sold in the hundreds through the 2000s, cleared 1,000 units for the first time in 2015 and climbed to 1,732 in 2019. Supply and the generation change then produced two sharp dips, to 1,152 in 2020 and 677 in 2022, before the series rebounded to a record 1,948 in 2023. The last three full years have settled into a narrow band just below that peak, at 1,880 in 2024 and 1,804 in 2025. Through June 2026 Canadian deliveries stand at 946 against 959 a year earlier, a difference of about 1 percent, which makes Canada the flatter of the two North American markets while the United States sets records.

Third Generation (2002-2012)

The third generation Range Rover was introduced in 2002 and was based on the all-new L322 platform. It was powered by a 4.4L V8 engine and was available in rear-wheel drive or four-wheel drive configurations.

Fourth Generation (2013-2022)

The fourth generation Range Rover was introduced in 2013 and was based on the all-new L405 platform. It was powered by a 3.0L turbocharged inline-6 engine, a 4.4L twin-turbocharged V8 engine, or a 5.0L supercharged V8 engine. It was available in rear-wheel drive or four-wheel drive configurations. Featured a significant leap in terms of design, luxury, and technology. A more modern interpretation, with advanced technologies, new powertrains, and even more refined luxury.

Fifth Generation (2022-Present)

The fifth generation Range Rover was introduced in 2022 and is based on the all-new MLA-Flex platform. It is powered by a 3.0L turbocharged inline-6 engine, a 4.4L twin-turbocharged V8 engine, or a 4.4L twin-turbocharged V8 engine with mild-hybrid assistance. It is available in rear-wheel drive or four-wheel drive configurations.
