First pictures of the new Toyota Prius revealed a grainy image that made almost everyone think Toyota had improved their dedicated hybrid hatchback. Along came the Honda Insight concept, and almost everyone thought Toyota hadn’t gone far enough in the styling department. Then came the production Honda Insight, looking all dowdy and frumpy, and as this gallery shows, the Prius looked alright again.

The all-new Toyota Prius, with a substantially revised Hybrid Synergy Drive system, will deliver improved mileage, improved performance and a host of innovative new features.”
Yup, that’s it. Other information has made its way out of Toyota HQ. The EPA combined fuel mileage for the 134-horsepower Toyota Prius will be 50mpg, up from 46mpg. Horsepower is up by 24. The CoD of 0.25 is slightly improved.
