GAC Aion V
The Aion V is an electric compact crossover produced by GAC NE, the New Energy division of Guangzhou Automotive, which launched its new Aion sub-brand for electric cars. The V is Aion’s third model after the Aion S sedan and the larger Aion LX crossover. The Aion V is powered by a 135kW electric motor and is available in three versions with different battery capacity, offering NEDC ranges of 400km, 530km and 600km. Prices range from 159.600 yuan (€19.400,- / US$ 22,800) to 239.600 yuan (€29.200,- / US$ 34,200), which puts it right in the same territory as the BYD Song Pro EV (179.800-219.800 yuan), Geometry C (139.800 yuan), Neta U (139.800-199.800 yuan) , Weltmeister EX5 (139.800-198.800 yuan) and Xpeng G3 (146.800-199.800 yuan).
