BMW X3 sales in the United States have trended firmly upward over the life of this chart, apart from the expected dips around generation changeovers and the 2009 downturn. Volume held in the 28,000 to 44,000 range through the first two generations, then stepped up sharply with the third-generation model: deliveries climbed from 61,351 in 2018 to 75,858 in 2021. After settling to 65,800 in 2022 and 63,172 in 2023, the X3 rebounded to 68,799 in 2024 and reached 75,867 in 2025, the strongest full year in this dataset and narrowly a nameplate record. The momentum has carried into 2026, with 37,671 units through June against 29,028 over the same months of 2025 as the redesigned latest-generation X3 filled out showrooms.

BMW X3 Sales in Canada
In Canada the X3 is likewise one of BMW’s better sellers. Canadian volume rose from a little over 2,300 units in 2004 to a peak of 8,404 in 2019, then ran between roughly 5,600 and 7,500 through the early 2020s. The nameplate recorded 7,128 sales in 2024 before easing to 6,316 in 2025. Early 2026 has been stronger: BMW sold 3,824 X3s in Canada through June, up from 2,866 over the same period a year earlier.
