BMW iX

The iX is BMW’s flagship all-electric Sports Activity Vehicle, a midsize luxury SUV designed from the outset as a battery electric vehicle and built at BMW’s Plant Dingolfing in Germany. BMW iX Sales in the United States
BMW iX sales in the United States started in March 2022 and reached 4,827 units in that partial first year. The iX hit its stride in 2023, peaking at 17,300 as monthly volume climbed from well under 1,000 early in the year to more than 1,700 a month through the second half. Sales have eased every year since, to 15,385 in 2024 and 12,487 in 2025, an 18.8 percent decline. The slide has steepened in 2026: 3,445 units through June, down 48.9 percent from the 6,742 sold in the first half of 2025. BMW reports U.S. sales by quarter, so quarterly totals are a better guide than individual months, and the October 2022 figure is missing from this dataset.

BMW iX Sales in Canada
In Canada the iX followed a similar arc on a smaller scale. Sales totalled 1,357 in 2022 and peaked at 1,750 in 2023, then fell to 1,355 in 2024 and 996 in 2025, a 26.5 percent decline. Through June 2026 Canadian sales stand at 394, down 15.3 percent from 465 in the first half of 2025, although second-quarter sales of 275 were more than double the 119 sold in the first quarter.
