BAIC Beijing X7 Sales Data & Trends

Beijing Auto Industry Corporation (BAIC) and its confusing array of subsidiaries and (sub-)brands (BAIC, BAW, BJEV, Huansu, Senova, Weiwang) is looking to consolidate all of its models under a single brand, simply named Beijing. This should become BAIC’s only brand, responsible for its petrol powered cars, crossovers and SUVs as well as EVs. The Beijing X7 is powered by a 1.5-liter turbocharged engine with 169 hp. Prices range from 104.900 yuan (€12.700,- / US$ 14,900) to 146.900 yuan (€17.900,- / US$ 20,900). This is in line with rivals like the SAIC Roewe RX5 (99.800-148.800 yuan), Haval H6 (103.000-141.000 yuan), Changan CS75 Plus (106.900-154.900 yuan). Dimensions are 4.710/1.892/1.715mm with a wheelbase of 2.800mm.
