Subaru Impreza Sales in the United States

United States volume for the Impreza has moved in two long arcs. The nameplate held in the 33,000 to 49,000 range through 2011, then nearly doubled with the arrival of the fourth generation, reaching 81,799 in 2012 and peaking at 100,519 in 2015. A second wave carried 86,043 in 2017 before the compact-car retreat took hold: sales fell every year from 2018 through 2022, briefly rebounded to 34,719 in 2023, and have declined since to 31,366 in 2024 and 27,942 in 2025, the lowest full year in this dataset. The 2026 pace is weaker again. Subaru delivered 8,382 Imprezas through June against 14,978 in the first half of 2025, a drop of about 44 percent, with no month yet above 1,600 units.

Subaru Impreza Sales in Canada

The Canadian series follows the same shape at roughly a tenth of the volume. Sales built from 5,556 in 2004 to a peak of 11,212 in 2012, held near 9,000 to 10,600 through 2019, then fell sharply to 2,444 in 2022 and 2,243 in 2023, the low point of the chart. The current generation has stabilised things: Canada recorded 3,276 units in 2024 and 3,446 in 2025, a second consecutive increase. Through June 2026 the Impreza stands at 1,297 units against 1,360 a year earlier, essentially flat and a much steadier picture than the United States. Note that Subaru Canada reports on a quarterly basis, so the month-by-month figures in the Canadian table are distributed within each quarter rather than individually reported.
