Nissan LEAF Sales in the United States
The Nissan LEAF chart for the United States starts with 19 sales in 2010 and 9,674 in 2011. The peak came in 2014 at 30,200, and the first-generation car then faded to 11,230 in 2017. The second generation lifted sales to 14,715 in 2018, and 2021 brought another high of 14,237. Volume swung between 7,149 in 2023 and 11,227 in 2024, then fell to 5,125 in 2025, down 54.4 percent, with only 500 in the fourth quarter. The first half of 2026 totals 1,684, down 57.1 percent from 3,924 a year earlier, although the second quarter of 2026, at 1,016, was the strongest quarter since the second quarter of 2025.

Nissan LEAF Sales in Canada
In Canada the LEAF chart opens with 170 sales in 2011 and grew steadily to 1,375 in 2016. The second-generation launch produced the peak of 5,735 in 2018, and sales then ran between 1,224 and 2,002 a year from 2020 to 2024. The 2025 total dropped to 595, down 64.2 percent, with just 80 sold in the first half. Then the line turned sharply: the fourth quarter of 2025 brought 476, and the first half of 2026 totals 2,725, already more than any full year since 2019 and well ahead of the United States over the same months.
