Cadillac XT5

Cadillac XT5 Sales in the United States
The XT5 arrived in the spring of 2016 and posted 36,462 units over a partial first year, then peaked immediately at 68,312 in 2017, its only year above 60,000. What followed has been one of the steadiest declines in the segment: 60,566 in 2018, 49,878 in 2019 and 35,224 in 2020, after which the series flattened out rather than kept falling. Deliveries have moved within a narrow band ever since, from 28,378 in 2021 to 27,340 in 2022, 26,808 in 2023 and 26,432 in 2024, before 2025 stepped down again to 24,516, the lowest full year on record for the nameplate. Monthly volume in 2025 was remarkably even, running between 1,731 in August and 2,297 in December. Through June 2026 Cadillac has delivered 11,107 XT5s against 12,727 over the same six months of 2025, a decline of roughly 13 percent, which puts the crossover on course for another new low as Cadillac’s electric SUVs take a larger share of the brand’s volume.

Cadillac XT5 Sales in Canada
The Canadian series traces the same shape. A partial 2,789 units in 2016 was followed by a peak of 6,586 in 2017, then a slide to 4,928 in 2019 and a three-year plateau near 4,200 through 2022. The step down since has been sharper than in the United States: 3,708 in 2023, 2,901 in 2024 and 2,735 in 2025, which is less than half the 2017 high. Through June 2026 Canadian deliveries total 1,133 against 1,400 a year earlier, down about 19 percent, a steeper rate of decline than the American market is showing over the same period.
