Not only did North America’s best-selling line of vehicle, the Ford F-Series, feature the most commonly researched sales figures at GCBC in July 2016, an example of the F-Series claimed the most popular review on GCBC last month.
Our review of the 2016 Ford F-150 XLT SuperCrew EcoBoost 2.7L which we tested late this past winter pushed the months-long favourite, a review of the 2015 GMC Sierra 6.2L, into second place.
At the opposite end of the spectrum from the F-Series sits the Mazda MX-5 Miata. MX-5 sales figures were scanned more often than any vehicle other than the F-Series in July.
Along with the MX-5, there was only one other truly uncommon vehicle with commonly researched sales figures among GCBC’s top ten in July. The possibility of cancellation drove people to GCBC in order to see just how rare the Alfa is.
Automobile manufacturers will begin reporting their July 2016 U.S. auto sales figures on Tuesday, August 2, 2016 – Canadian auto sales data won’t be released until Wednesday, August 3, 2016. GoodCarBadCar will be updated throughout each with brand results from every automaker. Later on Tuesday afternoon, July U.S. best seller lists for cars and trucks and SUVs will be published, as well, followed by Canadian best seller lists the next day.
As always, sales figures for all manufacturers, makes, and models will be updated in GCBC’s free searchable database of historical monthly and yearly sales data. For non-mobile users (or mobile users who have opted to view the full site by selecting that option at the bottom of the page), you can also select a vehicle, a brand, a manufacturer, or total industry figures in a dropdown menu near the top right of this page. The in-depth breakdown of July 2016 new vehicle sales begins in earnest at the beginning of August.
