Priced from $9,995, the second-generation 2016 Chevrolet Spark enters the sub-$10K arena previously inhabited by the Nissan Micra in Canada. The Spark, with $1600 in freight fees, rises to $11,595. Like the Micra S, the Spark LS is sparsely equipped. Want an automatic transmission? The available CVT adds $3900, but brings along some other features, too. Though the Canadian market is 1/9th the size, sales in the U.S. are 23 times stronger.
