Hongqi HQ9
Sales figures for the FAW Hongqi HQ9 in China. The HQ9 is the first ever MPV for the Hongqi brand. It’s powered by a 2-liter turbocharged gasoline engine with a 48V hybrid system, which has a total output of 252hp and 380Nm of torque, matched to an eight-speed manual transmission. Hongqi also plans to launch a PHEV version of the HQ9 in the future. Dimensions are 5,222/2,005/1,892mm with a wheelbase of 3,200mm.
Prices range from 358,800 yuan (€ 49.300,- / US$ 49,100) to 538,800 yuan (€ 74.000,- / US$ 73,750) and the HQ9 competes with cars like the Buick GL8, GAC Trumpchi GM8, Maxus G90 and Roewe iMax 8.
