Here you will find monthly and yearly United States and Canadian sales figures for the Lincoln Aviator. The Aviator name has had two separate lives: a body-on-frame SUV built from 2003 to 2005, and the current three-row luxury crossover reintroduced for the 2020 model year on a rear-wheel-drive architecture shared with the Ford Explorer. It sits between the Corsair and the Navigator in Lincoln’s lineup and competes with the Acura MDX, Cadillac XT6, Volvo XC90, Genesis GV80 and BMW X5.

Lincoln Aviator Sales in the United States

This chart carries both Aviators. The original body-on-frame model recorded 15,873 units in 2005 and a partial 1,711 in 2006 as it was wound down, after which the nameplate disappeared for more than a decade. The modern crossover reached dealers in mid-2019 and posted 8,324 units over roughly half a year, then 23,080 in its first full year of 2020. Volume held near 21,000 through 2021 and 2022 before supply constraints cut 2023 to 15,551. The rebound since has been strong: a record 25,604 units in 2024, followed by 24,373 in 2025, the second-best year the nameplate has ever had. December 2025 was the single biggest month in the series at 3,185 units. Through the first six months of 2026 Lincoln has delivered 13,422 Aviators against 12,021 a year earlier, a gain of about 12 percent, and adding July lifts the running 2026 total to 14,852.

Lincoln Aviator Sales in Canada

Canada shows the same two chapters. The first-generation Aviator managed 1,072 units in 2004 and 664 in 2005, then nothing until the relaunch. The modern car opened with a partial 678 in 2019 and 1,941 in 2020, eased to 1,611 in 2023, and has climbed since to 2,027 in 2024 and a series record 2,274 in 2025. Momentum has carried into 2026: Canadian deliveries stand at 1,119 through June against 1,013 over the same months of 2025, up roughly 10 percent, which puts the Aviator on pace to beat its own record for a second straight year.
