2024 Best Selling Premium Sports Cars In the United States (All Models Ranked)
The premium sports car segment in the US has been relatively stable in recent years, with sales accounting for around 1-2% of the overall new car market. However, there are a few key trends that are emerging in this segment. One trend is the growing popularity of electric vehicles (EVs). A number of automakers have introduced electric premium sports cars in recent years, such as the Tesla Model S Plaid, Porsche Taycan Turbo S, and Audi e-tron GT. These cars offer better performance and acceleration than traditional gasoline-powered premium sports cars.
The Porsche 911 reigns supreme in term of sales volumes and looks like it will continue to sit on top of the sales tables for 2023. The BMW 8-Series also continues to sell strongly and is comfortably in second place. The updated Mercedes-Benz SL-Class is selling strongly as the year progresses. Other than that, this market is still marching along.
