2023 Best Selling Muscle Cars In the United States (All Models Ranked)
The muscle car segment in the US has seen a decline in recent years, but it remains an important part of the automotive market. In 2021, muscle cars accounted for just 1.2% of new vehicle sales in the US, down from 1.8% in 2016. Despite the decline in sales, the muscle car segment remains an important part of the US automotive market. Muscle cars are still a popular choice for enthusiasts who want a powerful and stylish car. Muscle cars are also known for their performance and handling. At this stage however, it is a non-significant part of the market in terms of sales volumes.
A number of automakers have introduced electric muscle cars in recent years, such as the Dodge Charger SRT Banshee and the Ford Mustang Mach-E GT. These cars offer better fuel efficiency and performance than traditional gasoline-powered muscle cars. The Tesla 3 and Tesla Y destroy most muscle cars in terms of performance these days, so the muscle car sales volumes are likely to decline for 2023 again.
