2021 China Automotive Sales by Automaker – The Best-Selling Automotive Manufacturers By Sales Volume
SAIC Motor remained the best-selling automotive manufacturer in China in 2021, with sales of over 5.3 million vehicles. Volkswagen Group was in second place, with sales of over 3.5 million vehicles. Geely Automobile Group was in third place, with sales of over 1.3 million vehicles. BYD Auto was in fourth place, with sales of over 940,000 vehicles.
The popularity of these manufacturers and models is due to a number of factors, including their affordability, fuel efficiency, reliability, and safety features. However, the Chinese auto market is becoming increasingly competitive, and manufacturers are facing new challenges, such as the rise of electric vehicles and self-driving cars.
