GMC Sales Data, Trends, Analysis & Current Lineup for the Canadian Automotive Market
This is your hub for all of the GMC sales data for the Canadian market. GMC is a manufacturer of trucks, vans, military vehicles, and sport utility vehicles marketed in North America and the Middle East by General Motors. In January 2007, GMC was GM’s second-largest-selling North American vehicle division after Chevrolet, ahead of Pontiac.
Some of the world’s first trucks came from GMC Truck, which quickly set the standard when it released the first mass-produced truck in 1912; over 22,000 examples were produced and sold in that year alone. In 1996, GMC Truck finally dropped the word “Truck” from the name to simply become GMC, the brand we know and love today.
Today, GMC shares many traits with Chevrolet, its sister brand at General Motors. Though many of the vehicles in our lineup at Danny Len Buick GMC may look similar, GMC vehicles offer something no others can compete with: the Denali trim. The Denali accounts for almost a quarter of all GMC sales, making GMC trucks the pick of the lot for customers who want more than just capability, but also refinement that would make premium sedans jealous.
