Since the early 2000s, the Slovakian car market has been relatively stable between 75,000-110,000 annual sales. The market peaked in 2008 at almost 97,000 sales before declining by almost 27% in two years time. Since 2011 car sales in Slovakia have slowly increased to set a new peak at over 100,000 sales in 2019.
