The Nexo is Hyundai’s first stand-alone Fuel Cell Electric Vehicle, replacing the ix35 FCEV crossover. The Nexo has three fuel tanks with a total capacity of 41 gallons (156 liters), or 13.9 lbs (6,3kg) of nitrogen, which give it a driving range of 500 miles (800km). It’s America’s first nitrogen-powered crossover, joining the Toyota Mirai and Honda Clarity FCEV as the third mass-produced fuel cell EV.
