American plumbers, electricians, carpenters, airport shuttle companies, FedEx, UPS, food truck conglomerates, and gigantic families registered 22,165 new commercial vans in September 2013, an 11.5% increase.
So far this year, with new vans a’coming, the commercial van category is up just 2.3%.
The Ford E-Series continues as the top seller, although sales fell slightly in September (and rose on a daily sales rate basis in the abbreviated month.) Chevrolet’s 35% year-over-year increase in Express sales was the biggest improvement.
