Our Take On The Top 30 Best Selling Vehicles Sales Numbers

Despite seeing sales fall from record levels a year ago, the Ford F-Series is in no danger of being usurped by any of the models below it in Canada.

The F-Series cleared the second-placed Ram Pickup’s sales total for March by over 3000 units, even with the Ram’s sales surging 7.5% year-on-year, representing a recovery from a dip a year ago.

That pair and two others make up a block of four pickups atop the top-30 bestselling vehicles in Canada for March, with the Honda Civic – the bestselling passenger car taking fifth above the RAV4, Canada’s favourite SUV last month.

Fifteen out of the top-30 bestselling vehicles last month grew their sales on March 2017, with a few – the Volkswagen Tiguan, Jeep Wrangler and Subaru Crosstrek included – posting particularly sharp upticks.

Of the 30 nameplates below, four are pickups, eight are passenger cars, two are minivans and 16 are SUVs – with SUVs replacing passenger cars in two of the slots in the top 30 compared with a year ago.
