Even with the arrival of GM’s sales figures for the end of the quarter, the Tesla Model 3 persists in the US top-30, taking 13th position for the month of September.

A 10% surge in sales for the Ram Pickup last month means it retains second place ahead of the Chevrolet Silverado, which saw sales drop 20.6% year-on-year.

The Chevrolet Equinox passed top-selling midsize sedans to almost join the rest of the compact SUV leaders in the top-10. Only the Toyota Camry sits between it and the Honda CR-V as Accord sales put it alongside the Civic in ninth and tenth respectively for the month.

Jeep Cherokee sales continued at the pace seen since the spring, making 25-day September narrowly the nameplate’s best month of the year so far after surpassing the 23,789 sold in a 26-day month of May.
