Our Take On The Top 30 Best Selling Vehicles Sales Numbers

No change in the podium positions from last January to this one in the Canadian top-30 vehicles, despite the pair of pickup trucks in first and second place both faring significantly worse in the first month of 2018 than 2017.

The Honda Civic holds on to third place, with the CR-V taking fourth with a 32.2% year-on-year increase in its sales.

Then it’s the venerable Jeep Wrangler in fifth, the latest JL incarnation of which has proven massively popular thus far.

Below the Jeep is another FCA staple, the Dodge Grand Caravan, marking the highest entry for a minivan in January’s top 30 bestselling vehicles. The only other minivan to feature, the Toyota Sienna, sits in 25th place.

Those two minivans are in the mix with a single commercial van, six pickup truck nameplates, seven passenger cars and a dominant (though less numerous than last January) 14 SUVs to make up the top 30.
