Our Take On The Top 20 Best Selling SUV Sales Numbers
The Toyota RAV4 took the number one selling spot for July 2018 in a class of its own; its closest competitor was the Honda CR-V, more than 8000 units behind it, and despite one less selling day and one less weekend in July for 2018, the RAV4 came within 711 units of cracking what was an all-time record for the nameplate last July.
Jeep products continue to shine here, too; the Wrangler is highest up the standings for July 2018, fifth below the Ford Explorer family. Cherokee, with a 71% year-on-year increase in sales, sits eights above the Grand Cherokee, sales of which fell 5.6% for the month.
Sales also fell for the Subaru Outback and Forester last month, though the company’s XV CrossTrek surged an impressive 58.9% year-on-year in July.
