Our Take On The Top 20 Best Selling SUV Sales Numbers
October sees the Honda CR-V leapfrog both the Toyota RAV4 and Ford Escape to be Canada’s best-selling SUV for the month, though it remains in third in year-to-date terms.
A near 18% surge in sales of the CR-V saw off a not unimpressive 10.9% increase in sales year-on-year for the Toyota RAV4.
Meanwhile the Hyundai Tucson continues just outside the Top-3, though it deserves a special mention for its 69.8% year-on-year growth. 2017 is already the Tucson’s best year of sales ever in Canada, which bodes well for the Korean automakers future plans for eight new SUV models by 2020.
The Jeep Wrangler climbs back in to the top-20 in eighth position, posting 44.3% growth after a lackluster September sales month.
