Our Take On The Top 20 Best Selling SUV Sales Numbers
Nissan’s Rogue was Canada’s top-selling SUV in December 2017, putting the jump on the Toyota RAV4, Ford Escape and Honda CR-V, which all outsold it in terms of total sales volume for the twelve months to the end of the year.
Rather than the SUV that grew the most in December, in the top-5 at least the Nissan was one of those that declined by the least compared with December 2016, with its 4.8% fall second in the top quarter of our table only to the Jeep Cherokee, sales of which fell 4.2% on its totals from December 2016 performance.
The Volkswagen Tiguan launched itself into the SUV top-20 in Canada in December, doubling its sales year-on-year to go twelfth.
The Nissan Qashqai also makes an appearance, taking fourteenth and just 32 sales behind the Ford Explorer.
