The Toyota RAV4, the USA’s top-selling SUV for July 2017, outsold the top-selling car, the Honda Civic, by over 5,000 cars. A stunning July for the RAV4 saw sales top 40,000 for the first month ever for the Japanese SUV, and put it comfortably ahead of the next-placed Nissan Rogue.
The Nissan remains ahead in YTD sales, but a repeat of July’s performance would see the Rogue overtaken by the Toyota.
Only 664 cars seperated the Rogue from third-placed Honda CR-V in July.
