Our Take On The Top 20 Best Selling Luxury Vehicle Sales Numbers

Of the top-20 best-selling luxury vehicles in Canada for July 2018, fifteen are SUVs and crossovers and five are passenger cars, but it’s the Mercedes-Benz C-Class that takes the top spot in July.

Last month, sales of the entry-level luxury sedan soared 35.4% year-on-year, outselling the Audi Q5 for only the third time in the last 12 months.

It was the only luxury sedan to make the top five, with the BMW 3-Series in sixth and down 28% year-on-year. The Audi A4’s sales fell at a similar trajectory, as it sold 29.7% fewer units than last July.

Estimates from Tesla indicate that its Model 3, deliveries of which have been increasing of late, is now the third-best-selling luxury sedan in Canada.
